Creature Feature 20th Anniversary

Dr. Paul Bearer's 20th anniversary as host of Creature Feature was celebrated in 1993 with the mayor of Tampa Bay, Florida, Sandy Freedman, declaring October 30th as Dr. Paul Bearer Day . To tie in with events, Dr. Bearer hosted a Creature Feature 20th Anniversary Show , which was broadcast live from the Busch Gardens amusement park. It featured clips from past shows. Atomic Age 2: Atomic Boogaloo

The Indiana based live spook show troop Atomic Age Cinema have released their second horror host DVD called Atomic Age 2: Atomic Boogaloo . In it, Baron Mardi, Woody The Clown, Basement Boy, Dr. Calamari, and Reverend Polypus host the movie The Undertaker and His Pals from their shack. While the film plays, they provide a running commentary track and in between, they celebrate Baron Mardi and Basement Boy's birthdays and Dr. Calamari decides to open a restaurant after being inspired by what they are watching. Les Accords du Diable

The French show Les Accords du Diable , which translates to The Agreements of the Devil , ran on the now defunct La Cinq channel On Monday nights from 1987 to 1988. Sangria was the host, which featured a full length movie followed by a horror magazine program, which showed clips of other horror movies and gave viewers information about them. The Host and Rodney Go Golfing

Tom Leahy played The Host on the Kansas based show Nightmare which ran off and on from the 1950s through to a revival in the mid 1990s. Although the actors who played his sidekick Rodney changed over the years, Tom was always a fixture of the show, in all its incarnations. Tom Leahy passed away on June 18, 2010. Dr. ZingRR's Astral Projections

Dr. ZingRR's Astral Projections ran from 1972-1976 on KTVW-TV in the Seattle, Washington area. Dr. ZinGRR was joined by other characters, such as Masked Doily, The DreamMaker, Film Lore, and Count Lickula. Robert O. Smith, who played Dr. ZinGRR, passed away on June 1, 2010 at the age of 67 from pancreatic and liver cancer. See some of the only remaining footage from the show below:

Horrible Horror

In 1986, Goodtimes Home Video released Horrible Horror , a made for video compilation of horror movie clips and trailers hosted by Zacherley. Zach was joined by his usual group of characters, such as Gasport, My Dear, and the Giant Amoeba, as he introduced the footage and performed experiments. For many, this tape was their first exposure to Zacherely and for fans of his older shows, it was a a welcome return of an old friend. Currently, this VHS has not been reissued on any other format.
