In 1969, the Sydney, Austrailia version of Deadly Earnest, played by Ian Bannerman, released a record album entitled Deadly Earnest and The Grave Situation - Rave In Peace . Deadly Earnest, the Melbourne, Australia host of Aweful Movies with Deadly Earnest, came out of a 40 year retirement to host trailers live at St. Kilda Film Festival on May 28, 2011. Watch his performance here:

There were a few horror hosts in Australia called Deadly Earnest. In the 1960s - 1970s the Melbourne area had Aweful Movies with Deadly Earnest with Earnest played by Ralph Baker. The show ran on the ATV-0 channel, where Earnest was joined by characters including Claw, Hoof, Igor, and Lily.
