Cleaver here with another obscure treat for your holiday weekend. Since it's Turkey day we decided to get in the spirit with a turkey related movie. We failed. The closest we could find is a turgid tale of chickens, hootin', hollerin' and the kind of relationship issues that are only found in some of the finer trailer parks of our great nation. It's the 1974 drive-in obscuro-classic: "Cockfighter"! And place your bets on what our retro-mercial selections are.... yeah, you guessed it. It's everyone's favorite chicken related chain restaurant from two cultural viewpoints...you decide which one is weirder." Watch it here:

In 1962, New Orleans horror host Dr. Momus Alexander Morgus starred in the movie The Wacky World of Dr. Morgus . In it, Dr. Morgus invents an Instant People Machine that can transform people into sand and back to their original form. Morgus and his assistant, Chopsley, have to stop a plot by Microvanian spies to take over America. Here is the trailer, courtesy of Meet Cleaver Theatre: Though hard to come by, the movie was released on VHS on November 6, 1996 by Ivy Classics Video. So far it has not been released on DVD. The horror host show Meet Cleaver Theatre had one of the best fan club packs, the Angry Atom Fanclub . It included two DVDs, two Angry Atom vinyl stickers, a fan club card, an Atomic Glowing Martini Glass, and a Mondo Super Secret Goody. The martini glass was a battery powered plastic glass the glowed green when turned on.
