The Creep hosted Creature Features on WNEW, Channel 5 in New York from July 1969 to August 1973. In November 1979 to May 1980, they rebroadcast some of the old shows as a Saturday night tripple feature. The first film ran under the Creature Features title, the second as Son of Creature Features , and the third as Revenge of Creature Features . A Creature Features Tribute

On March 19, 2011, Lord Blood-Rah hosted his Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre at the Historic Bal Theatre in San Leandro, California, and this time, instead of hosting a pair of horror movies, he presented a tribute to Creature Features . He was joined on stage by John Stanley and Tom Wyrsch, who discussed both Bob Wilkins and John's time on the show. They also screened the documentary Watch Horror Films, Keep America Strong! and The Bob Wilkins Super Horror Show . Watch highlights of the event here:

The 2002 Cinema Insomnia Halloween Special

The 2002 Cinema Insomnia Halloween Special featured Mr. Lobo interviewing Bob Wilkins, the host of Creature Features . It is now available in a limited edition DVD that includes the original show, a clips from a Halloween edition of Creature Features , and the Murders in 3D . The John Stanley Scrapbook

The John Stanley Scrapbook was published in 2001 and is a good overview of the second host of California's Creature Features show. Included in the book is an autobiography of John with his life story and information about his career. There are also articles about John and Creature Features that were printed during his run on the show. Insights into his books and his movie, Nightmare in Blood , are also provided by John, as well as his best and worst movie lists. Ample space is given over to behind the scenes stories about about Creature Features , with details of the mini-movies he made for the show. The book is illustrated with many photos of guests and interviewees of John's, including Christopher Lee and Leonard Nimoy. The rest of the book is filled with old movie posters from films that influenced John and others that were a part of Creature Features , as well as press materials from the show. Creature Features With Bob Wilkins

Bob Wilkins hosted Creature Features in the San Francisco area of California from 1971 - 1979. Known for his cigar and witty put-downs about the lower quality movies he sometimes showed, he was loved by fans and celebrities. He did enjoy horror movies themselves, even coining his trademark phrase "Watch horror moives, keep America strong." Creature Features was often visited by many celebrities and horror genre icons who stopped in to be interviewed by Bob. He eventually decided to movie on and handed the show over to John Stanley. Watch Horror Films, Keep America Strong is a documentary about California's horror host show Creature Features . Originally hosted by Bob Wilkins and then John Stanley, Creature Features has a long history in the entertainment and the television world. All of this is presented in the film, along with old clips from the show and all new interviews. It is currently being screened in select theaters and will eventually make it's way to DVD. The book Chicago TV Horror Movie Shows: From Shock Theatre to Svengoolie by Ted Okuda And Mark Yurkiw is an examination of almost all the TV shows that regularly scheduled horror and science fiction movies in Chicago. There are chapters dedicated to the horror hosts of the area, such as Marvin, Svengoolie, Son of Svengoolie, and The Ghoul. Also featured are the shows without hosts, like Creature Features, Monster Rally, and Thrillerama. Most get their own section of the book where the dates the shows ran, reminisces of them, and interviews with people who were involved with them, both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Spread throughout the book are many pictures and vintage ads from the shows, as well as movie posters of films that they ran. Other chapters in the book cover the authors' top 100 monster movies, reviews of 8mm versions of some of the movies, and a guide to the "Shock!" and "Son of Shock" film packages that were shown in the 1950's...
