Ghoul A-Go-Go Theme

The theme song to Ghoul A-Go-Go is now available on the new CD by Johnny Chan and the New Dynasty Six called I Hate You Baby!. Along with the opening theme, it includes some of the songs the band played in the early episodes of the show and actual audio of their Ghoul A-Go-Go appearances and Vlad's interview with them. Also included is their unreleased album. as well as live tracks and rarities. The two CD set is available for $12 from Johnny at his Facebook page, just send him a message.

Monster Horror Theatre - Episode 9

In episode nine of Dr. Cadaver's Monster Horror Theatre, Dr. Cadaver hosts the movie Horror Hotel while Igor is away at Bigfoot's wedding. This show originally aired in October 1998.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 - Manos: The Hands of Fate

Mystery Science Theater 3000 ran from 1988 to 1999, first starring Joel Hodgson, then Mike Nelson. They both played men stuck on a space station and forced to watch bad movies. The only companions were robots her made, Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot, Gypsy, and Cambot.

The movie Manos: The Hands of Fate was shown on episode 24 from season 5, originally broadcast on January 30, 1993. Watch the first five minutes here and follow the links in the video to see the full episode with the movie:

Nonstop Movie Party: Zombies!

The DVD Nonstop Movie Party: Zombies! is an almost hour long compilation of clips and trailers from zombie movies throughout the years. The movies go from White Zombie through the George Romero classics and Lucio Fulci Italian versions, as well as many others, including some obscure specimens. In between the footage, Cinema Insomnia's Mr. Lobo background information on the films that are featured.

The DVD inludes a loop option to put the clips on continuous play. The other extras are trailers for other Cinema Insomnia and Apprehensive Films DVDs.

Dr. ZinGRR Songs

Dr. ZinGRR hosted a show in the Seattle, Washington area from 1971 to 1976 on KTVW-TV channel 13. He also recorded two songs, Sinister Lunchmeat and Twilight Gallery 2176, in 1976.

Carbuncle, from Horror Incorporated, has just started his own series of internet shows called Carbuncle Speaks. In the series, all the residents of Ghoulie Manor have left Carbuncle at home to go on a vacation and his videos explain his thoughts and what he is doing while they are gone.

Prof. Paul Bearer II

In 2004, WTOG Channel 44 in St. Petersburg, Florida tried to revive Dr. Paul Bearer's old Creature Feature show with a new host, Prof. Paul Bearer II. Prof. Bearer is a nephew of Dr. Bearer who was very much in his image.

The show only lasted a few episodes, as the station decided to not pick it up for another run.

Monsterama: A Tribute to Horror Hosts

The now defunct High Definition horror channel Monsters HD showed a series of short documentaries in between their movies. Each one was hosted by Elvira and included segments on toys, masks, and the men who created some of the famous movie monsters, among many other subjects. Monsterama: A Tribute to Horror Hosts was one of these that focused on horror hosts.

It was written by Daniel Roebuck, who also directed many of the Monsterama segments, and began airing in 2004. Dan also appears in this one as his Dr. Shock tribute character, Doctor Shocker. Among the hosts interviewed in the piece are John Zacherle, Maila Nurmi, and Cassandra Peterson and focuses on the history of their characters Zacherley, Vampira, and Elvira, as well as an overview of hosting in general.

Dead Man Cinema

Chicago, Illinois area horror fan Dead Wood is the host of Dead Man Cinema. He stars in the show with critic Stinko Stinkowitz and Skullie. The show started in 2007 and has completed two seasons so far.
