Acri Creature Feature - 2005 - Episode 1


Acri Creature Feature, the Illinois area horror host show from the 1960s and 1970s hosted by Chuck Acri had a brief revival in 2005. These are the hosting segments from the first of the new shows which aired on KLJB-TV, where Chuck presented the movie The Devil Bat.

ACRI'S Creature Features?! 1969-71! We used to watch this in Chillicothe IL near Peoria IL. We had a very tall TV antenna, *Dad's measured their worth that way back then. We would watch the antics of the Vampire, Mummy and Wolfman along with Chuck Hawking Aluminum Siding. We were happy when the whole Monster Crew came to Shore Acres in Chillicothe IL for a charity Softball Game. This show was one of our favorites. My Horror/Sci-Fi credentials are "THE original Lights OUT" "WQAD-Chuck Acri Creature Features" "Screaming Yellow Theater WFLD32 TV *Svengoolie" "Monstrous Movie-WFLD32" "Elvira's show" "WGN Creature Features" and "Son of Svengoolie with Rich Koz-WCIU26" What fun memories. :0)
