He was a great guy and totally unafraid to look silly as the Ghoul and yet simultaneously and for years afterwards on various stations was a local anchorman who was quite serious!
I used to say his was the first autograph I ever got but then I realized that "the Cool Ghoul" technically doesn't count as a real signature!
